About Be Kind Penguin
Our Mission
The mission of Be Kind Penguin is to raise awareness, compassion, and activism with respect to the ongoing climate crisis that is changing and destroying ecosystems all over the globe. A picture is worth a thousand words so the saying goes. Through the medium of digital art, Be Kind Penguin seeks to educate the public about climate change and global warming. By engendering greater understanding our hope is that a greater number of people will act with increased mindfulness about how they are impacting the planet and steps they can take to mitigate against the carbon footprint that they create. Be Kind Penguin promotes the idea, emotions and values of being "Kind" to our planet. In order to be kind to our one and only home however, we must first be kind to ourselves, and to one another. We promote respect, understanding, unity, togetherness, amongst our neighbors, friends, family and other loved ones. We have only one home - we might as well get along and make it the best home we can!
Our Content
Although our primary focus is story-telling via digital art, we do also plan to promote educational content via interviews, videos, and articles that discuss ongoing efforts to combat climate change, promote species conservation and a greener tomorrow.
